Emraan Hashmi-starrer Captain Nawab first look out
Mumbai, 26 Aug – The first look of Captain Nawab starring Emraan Hashmi is out. Emraan has turned producer with this movie, which has been directed by Tony D’Souza. The actor shared the first look on Twitter and captioned it, “And here it is, my first home production movie !!”
The debut look of the film is immensely intriguing as Emraan can be seen donning a uniform with a background of Indian and Pakistani flags. This is Emraan’s second outing with director Tony D’Souza. The two had earlier teamed up for Emraan’s last release Azhar, which was the biopic based on the life of Mohammad Azharuddin. Captain Nawab will be yet another collaboration between the actor and the director. Tony is an American journalist and has published three novels so far including Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
The shooting of Emraan’s other film Baadshaho with actor Ajay Devgn has also begun. The film said to be a thriller, is being directed by Milan Luthria and is reportedly set during the Emergency period during the 70s. It marks the reunion of Ajay, Emraan and Milan after their hugely successful film “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” (2010).
The writer of Baadshaho Rajat Arora shared a photograph of the film’s clapboard on Twitter . he wrote “A new journey begins! Too excited! First Day Of Shoot Baadshaho”. Rajat has also penned down movies like Taxi 9211, Bluffmaster and Kick,
Baadshaho is set against the backdrop of the Emergency period in the country and stars Ileana D’Cruz Esha Gupta, Vidyut Jammwal, apart from Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn.
The trailer of Emraan’s upcoming film Raaz Reboot also came out on Tuesday. It is the fourth film in the franchise and also stars Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora. The supernatural thriller written and directed by Vikram Bhatt, is intended to scare the bejesus out of the audience. But going by Raaz Reboot’s trailer, it may be mission unaccomplished.
