IMAX Production introduces TV reality show "Big Boss" in Nepal

Kathmandu, 16 April (2019) - IMAX Production has announced the Nepal franchise of the worldwide popular televised reality show "Big Boss Nepal" Monday.

"Big Boss Nepal" follows the Big Brother reality television show's format, first developed by John De Mol Jr. in the Netherlands. Big Brother was subsequently syndicated internationally and there have been more than 387 seasons of Big Brother in over 54 franchise countries and regions.

The show will broadcast on national television channel in Nepal and will be hosted by a renowned personality.

Celebrities and popular personalities participate in the show. They have to spend more than 100 days in the Big Boss House without any external connections. Internet, mobile phone and any other connecting devices are forbidden inside the House. Contestants are confined to the House and all of their actions are recorded by video cameras and microphones. They are forbidden from discussing nominations or voting strategies.

Contestants will become winners on the basis of popular votes and the winner will get multiple prizes.

IMAX Production and Endemol Shine Group have collaborated to introduce Big Boss show in Nepal.

IMAX Productions is an emerging international production company based in Kathmandu with registered office at Charkhal. It was established in 2016 by passionate and creative filmmakers with the sole ambition of making action and adventure-oriented entertainment content.
