Minister Ale tells Chief Minister Bhatta- Your days are numbered
Kathmandu, 8 January (2021) - Minister of Forest and Environment Prem Ale in Sudurpaschim Province vented his ire on Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta for failing to show up at the airport to welcome Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The PM had gone to Dhangadhi to address a mass gathering. Bhatta belongs to rival faction in the Nepal Communist Party and he skipped the welcome ceremony.
Ale also claimed that Bhatta will lose post of chief minister in few days.
"Statesman Oli came here and you didn't show respect. What kind of chief minister are you? Your days are numbered." Ale asked. "You labored in India for a long time. After losing the post of CM you don't have to go to India. We'll create a job of herb farming for you here."
Ale accused Dahal-Nepal faction of trying to throw a spanner in government works.
