Prachanda claims- Party rather than people made KP Oli PM

Kathmandu, 17 January (2021) - Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" claimed that the party rather than the people made KP Sharma Oli the prime minister.
He also said that the party is preparing to remove Oli as the latter did not perform as expected by the party.
Addressing a gathering of party activists in Kathmandu on Sunday, Prachanda said, "The people didn't make KP Oli PM. If anyone elected by the people could become PM, all 275 members of parliament could be the premier."
"The party made you PM. The party wishes to remove you. We prepared to take action against you as you kept disregarding party discipline."
Prachanda also claimed that his faction launched protest programs against Oli tendency rather that KP Oli himself.
