KP Oli to be removed from general member of party: Madhav Nepal

Kathmandu, 21 January (2021) - Chairman of Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be removed from general member of the party.
Addressing a protest rally against dissolution of House of Representatives in Surkhet on Thursday, Nepal said that preparations to remove Oli from the party are in the final phase.
"KP Oli doesn't have any attributes of a communist. He deems himself above the party but that is his illusion," he said. "We have majority in the party."
Nepal alleged that PM Oli did not respect majority in the party.
"What can we say to a person who doesn't respect majority? The worldwide practice is to respect majority decision," Nepal said.
"Should we follow the autocrat Oli? Are we slaves of KP Oli, his acolytes? This country has no space for autocrats."
