Prachanda warns that a million people will surround PM's residence if parliament not reinstated
Kathmandu, 10 February (2021) - Chairman of Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" said that a million people will surround government secretariat Singha Durbar and prime minister's residence Baluwatar if House of Representatives is not reinstated.
He further claimed that a peaceful protests can turn into insurgency and set a storm.
Addressing a mass gathering in Kathmandu on Wednesday to protest government's decision to disband the parliament, Prachanda said that constitutional bodies also need to listen to people's voices.
"What happens when a peaceful movement turns into an insurgency? A big storm will come and no one can stop it," he said. "Now green revolution will take place."
