Police tries to arrest Ram Kumari Jhakri, NCP activists raise nasty slogans against PM Oli
Kathmandu, 11 February (2021) - Police personnel have reached the house of leader of Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Ram Kumari Jhakri to arrest her on Thursday.
NCP activists too reached her house and raised nasty slogans against the police and the government.
The slogans are especially directed at PM KP Sharma Oli and President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Ram Kumari Jhakri said that she would not go to the police office since this is a political case.
She challenged the police to bring arrest warrant and refused to go to the police office.
"The state can take a civilian under control for 24 hours without any reason," Jhakri said. "But I won't come. Bring an arrest warrant if required."
The police is trying to arrest Jhakri for her statements against the President.
She accused President Bhandari of indulging in activities that people do not support at all.
