Prachanda says that PM Oli has been following footsteps of monarchs
Kathmandu, 15 February (2021) - Chairman of Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been following the footsteps of monarchs.
Addressing a press meet in Chitwan on Monday, Prachanda also said that the elections will not take place.
"We have hit the streets to protest attacks against democracy and constitution," Prachanda said. "But he has been following the footsteps of monarchs in gathering people to attend assemblies. It is meaningless and unimportant."
Prachanda also said that Oli has already lost the battle because he has trodden the path of regression.
He claimed that elections will not be held on scheduled dates.
"The polls will not take place, be clear about it. This regressive step has been taken not to hold any elections," he said.
