Leader Gautam calls for convening NCP Secretariat meet
Kathmandu, 24 February (2021) - Vice-Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Bamdev Gautam, has asked chairpersons—KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'- to call the NCP Secretariat meeting immediately.
Issuing a press release today after the reinstatement of the House of Representatives by the Supreme Court, leader Gautam urged the party chairperson duo to call the meeting at the party headquarters, Dhumrabarahi, to save the party unity.
Although the NCP has divided into two groups after the dissolution of HoR, Vice-Chairperson Gautam has been involved to save the party by launching a national campaign. He is coordinator of the campaign.
After the party split in two groups, out of nine secretariat members—Chair Oli, General-Secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Ishwor Pokharel and Ram Bahadur Thapa are in one group while Chair Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal and Narayankaji Shrestha are in another group.
Gautam, a member of National Assembly, is involving to save the party unity without joining any group.
