NC should not lead govt: leader Basnet
Chitwan, 26 February (2021) - Nepali Congress leader Mohan Bahadur Basnet has said NC should not lead the government immediately because it is not a natural time but the situation created after the internal disputes plagued the Nepal Communist Party leading to government failure.
At a programme organized by Nepal Democratic Sports Association here Thursday, leader Basnet said, "At present, NC should continue representing people, but not lead government." He further reminded that people had given mandate to the communist party to run government. NC should therefore wait for people's response, the leader stressed.
According to him, time has come for NC to be corrected. NC needs to win more votes from people. He accused the communist party of disrespecting people's mandate.
