We'll remove Oli if he fails to resign by 7 March: Prachanda
Kathmandu, 3 March (2021) - Chairman of Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" said that political parties will remove Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli if he fails to resign before 7 March.
He said that the parties are ready to face the challenge posed by Oli to remove him with motion of no confidence.
Talking to reporters at Civil Hospital after getting a jab against Coronavirus, Prachanda said that Oli has to resign if he believes in democratic norms.
"Fog of uncertainty will dissipate by 7 March and new momentum will be gained. I still believe that KP will resign and make way for easy solution if he is sensitive about people, nation and democracy," Prachanda said. "Political parties will band together to remove him if he fails to do that."
Previously Oli had challenged the rivals to bring motion of no confidence and remove him.
