PM Oli holds long conversation with JSP leaders
Kathmandu, 20 April (2021) - Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a long conversation with leaders from Mahantha Thakur faction in Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) on Tuesday.
The talks were held at the PM's official residence Baluwatar from 11 am to around 1:30 pm, one JSP leader told Lokantar.
JSP leaders had joined the cabinet in Lumbini Province government yesterday. The party is discussing with the PM about possible collaboration.
"The conversation has been moving ahead in a positive direction," JSP leader told Lokantar.
Withdrawing the cases against Madheshis that were during the Madhesh movement and forming the constitutional review commission for constitution amendment are about to be agreed, JSP source said.
The PM and members of the government task force were in the meeting with JSP leaders.
