CJ unwell, hearing on House dissolution petitions postponed

Kathmandu, 7 June (2021) - The hearing on all writ petitions against the dissolution of House of Representatives has been postponed.
The Supreme Court source told Lokantar that the constitutional bench's hearing for Monday has been postponed because Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana is suffering from diarrhoea.
Yesterday lawyers from the government side including Attorney General Ramesh Badal had raised questions about reconvening of the constitutional bench.
After that the hearing was postponed due to lack of time. But the bench will not hear cases today.
The Supreme Court's official website mentions about other three benches to be convened today.
