One killed, three injured in road accident
Udayapur, 13 June (2021) - One person was killed while three others were seriously injured in a road accident that took place at Pokharidanda in Tapling rural municipality-4. The accident involving a passenger jeep took place on Saturday evening, according to District Police Office, Udayapur.
The deceased has been identified as Indra Bahadur BK, 60, of Dudhauli municipality-1, Sindhuli. The injured are jeep driver Dak Narayan Shrestha,35, of Katari municipality, Jhagar Bahadur Sarki,30, and Damber Bahadur Tamang,26, of Tapli-4, police said.
Only four people were travelling in the jeep (Ba.18 Cha. 1567) that had left from Lahan of Siraha. The jeep fell some 200 meters below the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle, chief of Udayapur police Bhim Prasad Dahal said. The injured are undergoing treatment at Katari hospital.
