Prime Minister Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Dahal meet
Kathmandu, 27 July (2021) - Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have held a meeting today morning.
During the meeting held at the official residence of Prime Minister at Baluwatar, Kathmandu at 9 am, the two dwelt on expansion of the Cabinet and contemporary issues, Bhanu Deuba, personal aide of PM Deuba, told Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).
The incumbent government formed following appointment of Nepali Congress President Deuba on July 13 currently has four ministers, two each from Nepali Congress and the CPN (Maoist Centre).
On Sunday, Prime Minister Deuba inducted one State-Minister for Health and Population.
Although Prime Minister Deuba secured the vote of confidence in the meeting of House of Representatives on July 18, the expansion of Cabinet has been delayed since PM Deuba has to take on board all the parties supporting him in the trust vote.
