Electricity tariff should be reduced: Minister Bhusal
Kathmandu, 29 July (2021) - Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal, has pointed out the need of reducing electricity tariff.
At a programme organised by CPN (Maoist Centre), Dhanusha, here today, Minister Bhusal said that she is in favour of providing up to 20 units of electricity free of cost, adding that more than 10 million people would be benefitted from this.
Stressing the need of bringing a plan to make electricity cheaper, she opined that it was necessary to create environment where poor people can consume electricity free of cost or determining minimum tariff.
Minister Bhusal laid emphasis on the need of paying attention on people's need and aspiration in order to make the party sustainable.
She further said that it was necessary to adopt development work execution and process in a systematic way.
