Supreme Court allows Pandey and Bhatta to join CPN (US)

Kathmandu, 14 September (2021) - Parliamentarians Som Prasad Pandey and Sharada Devi Bhatta can join CPN (United Socialist-US) led by Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Division bench of Justices Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada and Nahakul Subedi in the Supreme Court issued an interim order allowing the parliamentarians to join CPN (US).
The bench further ordered to refrain from taking any action against them till the final decision on the write petition is made.
Pandey and Bhatta had filed a petition at the Apex Court after Election Commission refused to verify them as parliamentarians belonging to CPN (US).
