Three die in jeep accident
Syangja, 11 October (2021) - Three persons were killed and 14 were injured when a jeep met with an accident near local Madi river at Waling-10 in the district on Sunday evening. The jeep fell 50 metres off the road.
The deceased have been identified as Dal Bahadur Palli, 77; Ganga Palli, 32, and four-year-old Karishma, all of Galyang Municipality. Dal Bahadur and Ganga died at a Waling-based primary health institution and Karishma at Manipal Hospital in Pokhara, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad Adhikari. Fourteen injured are undergoing treatment. The total 19 passengers were travelling on the ill-fated vehicle.
