Ghandruk-bound jeep meets with accident
Pokhara, 11 October (2021) - A jeep en route to Ghandruk from Pokhara met with an accident this afternoon. According to police, Bolero jeep ( Ga 1 Ja 6900) fell some 110 meters off the road at Kalabhir of Annapurna rural municipality-10.
A total of 10 people were traveling in the jeep when it met with the accident and eight of them are said to be seriously injured, said the police. District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Suwas Hamal said further details of the accident were waited as the police was yet to reach the accident site.” We have unverified information about some deaths in the accident.”
The jeep was reserved by a group of people for a trip to Ghandruk, it has been said.
