CoAS First National Lawn Tennis Championship kicks off
Kathmandu, 13 December (2021) - The Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) First National Lawn Tennis Championship has started from today.
One hundred eighty five players from 15 sports clubs are competing in the Championship organized by the Nepali Army with technical support from Nepal Tennis Association. It will have 201 matches under various 12 events and run till December 20.
CoAS Prabhuram Sharma inaugurated the Championship by handing over the tennis ball to the chief referee amidst a programme held at the Army Headquarters.
The Armed Police Force (APF), Flash Sports Club Lazimpat, Kaski District tennis Association, Kathmandu District Lawn Tennis Association, Greenland Tennis Club, Team Tennis Nepal, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, Norling Sports Villa, Bhadgaun Sports, Mandikhatar Tennis Club,Yak and Yeti Club, Rupandehi Lawn Tennis Association, Satdobato Tennis Club and Saint Xavier's Club are taking part in the Championship.
