Re-entry work permit re-issue goes online from today

Kathmandu, 16 January (2022) - The government has managed the online re-issue of work permits for Nepali migrant workers. This service will come into operation from today.
This means Nepali migrant workers employed overseas can apply and get their re-entry work permit re-issued from the country where they work.
The service aims to facilitate Nepali migrant workers, said Ramesh Aryal, chief of the Foreign Employment Office.
One can apply for the work permit re-issue by visiting the website of the Department of Foreign Employment. Necessary documents are required for this purpose, the Office said.
