Kamal Thapa announces to quit RPP
Hetauda, 8 February (2022) - Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) outgoing Chair Kamal Thapa has said now he is no more associated with the party. Organising a press meet in Hetauda today, leader Thapa announced to quit the party.
"I have decided to leave the party with a heavy heart and the moment is very painful for me." As he explained, he was obliged to take this 'unwanted decision' as his calls for correcting what he called the ideological deviation and wrong tendencies within the party remained unheard. Though he wished to spend his remaining political career in the party, it could not be possible, he added.
