Balen Sah's impressive electoral performance continues, vote difference with rivals very wide
Kathmandu, 20 May (2022) - Independent mayoral candidate Balen Sah continues to widen his lead in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Out of 73,109 counted votes, he has polled 27,223 votes so far while his closest rival Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML is trailing him with 14,781 votes.
Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress is third in the race with 13,833 votes.
Meanwhile, Sunita Dangol of CPN-UML has widened her lead in deputy mayoral race. She has polled 27,260 votes so far.
Her closest rival Rameshwar Shrestha of CPN-Unified Socialist has received 8,802 votes.
