Renu Dahal widens lead over rival Subedi in Bharatpur Metropolitan City
Kathmandu, 20 May (2022) - Renu Dahal of CPN-Maoist continues to lead the mayoral race in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
Out of 54,780 counted votes, Renu has polled 20,739 votes so far while Bijaya Subedi of CPN-UML trails her with 17,499 votes.
The difference of votes between Dahal and Subedi is 2,2240.
Independent candidate Jagannath Poudel is distant third with 7,956 votes.
Chitrasen Adhikari of Nepali Congress has polled 23,188 votes for deputy mayor. His nearest rival Himala Gurung of Rastriya Prajatantra Party has received 13,893 votes so far.
