Rajeshman Singh maintains wide lead against rivals in Birgunj Metropolitan City
Kathmandu, 20 May (2022) - Rajeshman Singh of Janata Samjwadi Party has widened his lead in mayoral race in Birgunj Metropolitan City.
He has polled 22,596 votes so far while his nearest rival Bijaya Sarawagi of CPN-UML has been trailing him with 11,785 votes.
Imtiaz Alam of Nepali Congress has polled 16,139 votes so far for the deputy mayor. His nearest rival Purushottam Lal Jha of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party is far behind with 3,356 votes.
