Chiribabu Maharjan of Nepali Congress maintains wide lead in Lalitpur Metropolitan City
Kathmandu, 20 May (2022) - Mayoral candidate Chiribabu Maharjan of Nepali Congress continues to lead in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
Maharjan has polled 21,097 votes so far while his closest rival Hari Krishna Byanjankar of CPN-UML has received 12,032 votes.
Manjali Shakya of CPN-UML is maintaining her lead for deputy mayoral race with 11,842 votes. Baburaja Bajracharya of CPN-Maoist Centre trails her with 8,354 votes.
