Annual budget: Government prioritizes export
Kathmandu, 29 May (2022) - The government through annual budget for FY 2022/23 has announced replacing of import and increment in export.
Reading out the budget in the parliament on Sunday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has also announced promotion of business infrastructure for the next fiscal.
Sharma announced 8 percent grant for clinker, distilled water and other products that have the high possibility of export.
Previously, the government used to provide up to 5 percent grant to exportable goods.
