APF wins three gold medals in men's wrestling
Kawasoti, 18 October (2022) - The Armed Police Force ( APF) departmental team has clinched four gold towards men's wrestling held under the ongoing Ninth National Games in East Kawasoti.
In the competition held today, the APF won four gold medals followed by three gold by the Madhesh Province, two by Nepali Army and one by the Lumbini Province.
APF's Kundan Shah (57 kgs), Sujit Yadav ( 65 kgs), Umesh Kumar Thakur ( 70 kgs) and Baliram Yadav ( 69 kgs ) won the gold medals.
Amresh Kumar Yadav ( 61 kgs), Lal Bahadur Yadav ( 86 kgs) and Raj Yadav ( 125 kgs) bagged gold medals for the Madesh Province while NA's Suresh Chunar ( 74 kgs) and Sumir Shah ( 97 kgs) and Lumbini Province's Ramesh Gotame ( 92 kgs) clinched the gold medals.
