Madhav Kumar Nepal registers win from Rautahat-1

Kathmandu, 24 November (2022) - CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has been elected to House of Representatives from Rautahat constituency non. 1.
He defeated his closest rival Ajay Kumar Gupta of CPN-UML with a margin of 6,600 votes.
Nepal received 33,522 votes while Gupta tallied 26,922 votes.
Seven candidates from CPN-US have won the elections.
