NC candidate Lama clinches PA seat in Kavre 1(2) by razor thin margin of three votes

Kavre, 25 November (2022) - Nepali Congress candidate Tirtha Lama has won the election to the Province Assembly (PA) member from Kavre PA electoral constituency no 1 (2). He defeated his closest contender Chandra Lama of CPN (UML) by a margin of mere three votes.
The NC youth leader Tirtha secured 19,280 votes whereas Chandra got 19,277. Nine candidates were in the fray for the PA member seat in this constituency, the Office of the Chief Election Officer said.
