Gokul Banskota elected from Kavre-2
Kathmandu, 25 November (2022) - CPN-UML leader Gokul Prasad Banskota has been elected from Kavrepalanchowk electoral constituency no. 2.
He defeated his closest rival Shiva Prasad Humagain with a margin of 5,863 votes.
Banskota received 45,345 votes while Humagain got 39,482 votes.
Dinesh Humagain of Rastriya Swatantra Party tallied 10,586 votes.
Banskota was elected from the same constituency in the previous election as well.
