Sharat Singh Bhandari elected from Mahottari-2
Kathmandu, 25 November (2022) - Senior Leader of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Sharat Singh Bhandari has been elected a Member of Parliament from Mahottari electoral constituency no. 2.
He defeated his closest rival Dr. Bijaya Kumar Singh of Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party with a wide margin of 14,070 votes.
He received 25,190 votes to win the election while Singh got 11,120 votes.
Ram Parikshan Yadav of CPN-UML tallied 10,258 votes.
Bhandari has been elected for the seventh time from Mahottari.
