Kathmandu, 25 December (2022) - Ruling coalition is on the verge of collapse as there has been no agreement about the prime minister for the first tenure.

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" has left the coalition meeting in PM's official residence Baluwatar. He is about to meet CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli in the latter's residence at Balkot as per the sources.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden has already reached Balkot.

PM Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prachanda both have staked their claim for the post of PM leading to an impasse in the ruling coalition.
