New coalition to get backing of 166 parliamentarians
Kathmandu, 25 December (2022) - Coalition for the new government will get the backing of 166 members of parliament, Lokantar can project.
The meeting at CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has agreed to form a government under the leadership of CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda".
He will get the backing of UML's 78, Maoists' 32, Rastriya Swatantra Party's 20, Rastriya Prajatantra Party's 14, Janata Samajwadi Party's 12, Janamat Party's 6, Nagarik Unmukti Party's 4 parliamentarians.
The grand total will be 166 seats.
