Yeti Airlines crash: 68 bodies located
Kathmandu, 15 January (2023) - Chief District Officer of Kaski Tek Bahadur Adhikari said that 68 bodies have been located from the crash site in Pokhara.
Yeti Airlines plane crashed at Seti gorge in Pokhara Sunday.
KC said that condition of the remaining four bodies is still unknown.
A total 72 people including four crew members were onboard the aircraft.
"We have located 68 bodies so far while 31 bodies have been recovered," CDO KC told Lokantar. "Four bodies are still being searched."
He further said that bodies will be collected today while identification will be made tomorrow. Bodies will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem and identification process completes.
The 9N ANC ATR 72 plane that took off from Kathmandu for Pokhara crashed at around 11 pm Sunday.
