Nepal batting against Papua New Guinea

Kathmandu, 9 March (2023) - Nepal is batting against Papua New Guinea in a match under a tri-series of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League-2. The match was held at the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
Nepal has been invited into bat first after losing the toss. It requires for Nepal to win all remaining four matches under the series to remain within top three positions under the League. Similarly, Nepal has to secure a win at two matches to retain its ODI Status.
Out of the total 36 matches under the League, Nepal played 32 so far securing 32 points. It has been placed in the fifth position.
