Government to promote Himalayan water brand

Kathmandu, 29 May (2023) - The government has announced the plan to promote the brand of Himalayan water through "Water from the Himalaya" scheme.
While making public the annual budget 2023/24 in the joint parliament meeting on Monday, Minister of Finance Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat announced the plan to promote the mineral water and distilled water. He also said that the government will facilitate for the export of the water.
Mahat emphasized that exporting Himalayan water will provide a good opportunity to earn foreign money.
