JSP burns effigies of President and PM in Parasi
Kathmandu, 25 December (2020) - Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has burned effigies of President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at Parasi, headquarters of West Nawalparasi district Friday.
Party activists burned effigies saying that the Constitution was flouted to dissolve the parliament.
The police interfered at effigy-burning program.
JSP activists staged protests with effigies of the President and the Prime Minister alleging them of throttling republicanism and federalism.
Addressing a corner assembly, JSP leaders warned that they would launch a strong protest movement to protect the Constitution. They blamed NCP leaders of causing constitutional crisis in the country due to internal bickering.
