Dahal-Nepal group selects Prachanda as parliamentary party leader
Kathmandu, 5 March (2021) - Dahal-Nepal group of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) selected the Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" parliamentary party leader on Friday.
Parliamentary Party meeting in Singha Durbar today selected Prachanda to the post. Senior Leader Jhala Nath Khanal chaired the meeting as the oldest member.
Party Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha tweeted to inform the unopposed selection of Prachanda as the leader.
Dahal-Nepal group had submitted a letter to the parliament secretariat yesterday to inform that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had been removed from the party and was no longer the parliamentary party leader.
