Deuba appointed new PM, swearing-in ceremony at 6 pm
Kathmandu, 13 July (2021) - Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been appointed as the Prime Minister by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari as per the Article 76 (5) of the Constitution.
Office of the President on Tuesday issued a notice to this effect.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 6 pm.
Deuba will become PM following the Supreme Court's mandamus order to appoint him to the post.
