UML central committee meeting set for today
Kathmandu, 26 August (2021) - CPN-UML is set to have its first central committee meeting after a breakaway faction led by senior-leader Madhav Kumar Nepal-led registered a new party. The CPN (Unified Socialist) headed by former Prime Minister Nepal got official recognition from the Election Commission on Wednesday.
Secretary of UML central office, Sher Bahadur Tamang informed that the meeting has been set for 12.00 noon today at Tulsilal Memorial Building in Chyasal, Lalitpur.
Among the agenda of the party meeting are endorsement of standing committee decision on the implementation of 10-point proposal, party membership distribution, statutory general convention and action against party splinters.
