Miss India Sikkim Sang Doma Tamang represents India in Miss Tamang World 2021
Kathmandu, 30 August (2021) - Twenty-one years old Miss Sang Doma Tamang, Miss India Sikkim 2019 and also the sub contest winner in Femina Miss India 2019 pageant, is representing more than 1.5 million Tamang communities of India in Miss Tamang World 2021 at Kathmandu, Nepal.
Miss Tamang World Foundation is organizing the competition with the aim of representing the Tamang community around the world and for the preservation of traditions and cultures.
The grand finale is scheduled on 2 October 2021.
Sang Dong Tamang told reporters, "I am finding this community contest very interesting. This is the first time in my life that I will be very close to my traditions and cultures. I hope to learn more from Miss Tamang World 2021 pageant and am very much proud to represent Tamang community of India".
Tamang is from Syari, Deorali, Gangtok, Sikkim.
