Wife abducted to recoup lent money from husband

Kathmandu, 3 October (2021) - A person has abducted wife of another person whom he had lent huge amount of money.
The police informed that a person dealing with petroleum products had taken Rs. 500,000 from Dhiraj Shrestha in Bhaktapur two years ago.
Shrestha asked the person to return money but didn't receive it. Then he abducted the person's wife and took her to Bode in Bhaktapur.
He called the person and said, "Bring my money and take your wife away."
The police has arrested Shrestha after receiving complaint of abduction. Investigation is underway.
