Japanese sports company provides 3.2 million rupees to Badminton player Prince Dahal

Kathmandu, 30 March (2022) - A Japanese sports company has announced of providing World Badminton Junior No. 1 player Prince Dahal 3.2 million rupees.

An agreement for the support of the player has been made at Lalitpur on Tuesday.

Yonex Sunrise company that produces branded sports equipment has made an agreement with Dahal to provide 800,000 rupees per year for four years.

Besides that the company will pay for the expenses of sending Dahal to either India or Indonesia for training programmes for two months every year.

Yonex has agreed to promote Dahal's sporting activities for four years through its social media accounts and website.

Prince Dahal has appointed Bikas Khetan as his Athlete Manager for four years. Khetan has completed his Masters in Sports Management from Symbiosis International University, Pune, India.

Renowned sports personalities graced the agreement announcement programme.

Yonex Sunrise representative Raju Bastola handed over sports equipment to Prince Dahal in the programme.
