Jha ditches UML for Maoist to become mayoral candidate
Kathmandu, 25 April (2022) - Kundan Jha has left CPN-UML to join CPN-Maoist Centre to get a ticket for the mayoral candidature.
Jha was angling for a ticket for the post of mayor of Manara Shisawa Municipality in Mahottari district but UML gave him a pass. Miffed Jha entered Maoist party on Monday and immediately received a ticket.
Jha was a member at central secretariat of youth organization of UML and was also in charge of Yuwa Sangh, Mahottari.
Central member of Maoist Centre Ramkumar Sharma gave membership of the party to Jha.
