Independent candidate Hamal widens lead in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City
Kathmandu, 15 May (2022) - Independent mayoral candidate Gopal Hamal continues to widen his lead in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City.
Out of 2,453 counted votes, Hamal polled 1,163 votes.
His closest rival Nripa Bahadur Wada of Nepali Congress has secured 693 votes so far while Rana Bahadur Chand of CPN-UML is distant third with 117 votes.
Shanti Adhikari of Maoist Centre has polled 574 votes for deputy mayor so far while independent candidate Prabhakar Bhandari secured 381 votes.
