Industrial production to increase if closed industries are brought into operation: Minister Badu
Dhangadhi, 5 August (2022) - Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Dilendra Prasad Badu, has said the existing industries would be operated in full capacity to increase national production. He further said that industrial production would be increased only if the closed industries are brought into operation.
Talking to media persons at Dhangadhi Airport today, Minister Badu opined that it would help to create employment to some extent if the industries are run in full capacity and the closed industries are brought into operation again.
He shared, "The government alone cannot run all the industries. There will be contribution to revenue generation if the industries are run at the partnership of the government and private sector or by providing some industries on lease."
The Supplies Minister added that employment would be created as well as revenue and national production would be increased if private sectors run the industries.
Saying there was some delay in supplying fertilizer on time, he shared that arrangement is being made as fertilizer has to be brought from outside the country for now.
The Cabinet meeting on Thursday has announced the date for federal and province assembly elections, and activities for its preparation are the main task of the present situation, he said.
