Ranjita Shrestha wins from Kailali-1

Kathmandu, 24 November (2022) - Nagarik Unmukti Party Chairman Ranjita Shrestha has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kailali constituency no. 1.
She defeated Ram Janam Chaudhary of Nepali Congress with a margin of 12,323 votes.
Shrestha garnered 30,404 votes while Chaudhary got 18,008 votes.
Tapendra Rawal of CPN-UML got 5,910 votes.
