Meeting of Maoist Centre office bearers takes place
Kathmandu, 30 January (2023) - A meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) office bearers took place at the party central office in Perisdanda, Kathmandu today. Although the meeting discussed the issue related to party organisation, it is yet to reach a conclusion, said party spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara.
The meeting also touched on the issues like the situation after the party joined the incumbent government led by its chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the government's performance and party's unification with other communist parties, he said. Discussion on the topics was underway, said Mahara talking to media-persons after the meeting.
On the issue of the Ministry of Home Affairs, he said the issue had been in the government's priority. "The issue is the government's priority. The Prime Minister may deal with it. Besides, the party's standing committee may discuss it," he said.
The meeting of the Maoist Centre office bearers will take place again on Tuesday, he said.
