Journalist Poudel honored with Janasewa Award
Kathmandu, 15 April (2023) - Journalist Dilip Paudel has been honored with the Janasewa Award for his significant contribution to the pride of the nation and the welfare of the Nepali people through journalism.
President Ram Chandra Paudel presented a medal and a letter of decoration to journalist Paudel at the award ceremony held at the President's Office on Friday. The award was given with a letter of authorization signed by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of the Award Committee and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka. The President had announced that journalist Paudel would be awarded the medal on the occasion of Constitution Day of 2079 BS.
Poudel, who is also the general secretary of Nepal Press Union, has been active in journalism for a decade and a half. Paudel of Baglung, who works in the financial bureau of the Nagarik daily, was honored with various awards and prizes earlier.
Poudel has been honored with various awards and prizes such as the Barbara Adams Investigative Journalism Award, the SEJON Award, etc.
